SPECTRO Analytical Instruments Introduces the SPECTRO CIROS M™ CCD-ICP Analyzer

SPECTRO Analytical Instruments Introduces the SPECTRO CIROS M™ CCD-ICP Analyzer
SPECTRO Analytical Instruments, a leading manufacturer and distributor of analytical spectrometers worldwide, offers the SPECTRO CIROS M™ for high-end performance at an affordable price. Ideal for the replacement of an AA or a sequential ICP, the CIROS M™ is specially designed for laboratories that do not require extended VUV performance.

Unlike low-cost hybrid CCD ICP's, the SPECTRO CIROS M™ does not contain any moving parts. Element determination is performed simultaneously, and the time per sample is independent of the number of elements measured. The SPECTRO CIROS M™ offers significantly increased sample throughput, saving thousands of dollars per year in operating costs.

Additional features include the ability to measure sensitive UV lines, such as phosphorus and sulfur, without the added cost of purge gases, and complete wavelength coverage from 175 to 770 nm. The SPECTRO CIROS M™ is also able to capture the entire spectrum with each analysis, and additional lines and elements can be evaluated later if required.

Since its founding in 1979, SPECTRO has developed internationally into an industry innovator in XRF and Optical Emission Spectroscopy. SPECTRO instruments can be found in a diverse variety of environments and applications, ranging from aerospace laboratories to automated and on-line processing in steel or petrochemical facilities.
